I highly recommend this book to new riding instructors as well as anyone who teaches very young children.

Jane is English, so on occasion, the spelling or phrasing may seem a little strange, but the content is always sound.  From sample lesson plans, to safety, to trotting and using poles in a lesson, there is value on every page.

Jane includes an entire chapter on teaching children from four to eight, the very young riders.

And for the more advanced riders, there is a chapter on jumping.
